Writer, researcher, academic, teacher, traveller, single-parent, friend, family member: these are some of the hats I wear, usually all at the same time, which makes my head a bit heavy on occasion.

I have recently relocated from Melbourne to Perth (via 14 months at Cambridge Unversity) to commence a PhD at Edith Cowan University in creative arts education. I am really committed to improving how we educate artists at university, so am looking at using ways that artist can interact face-to-face and on-line to support each other whilst engaged in their own creative process and practice-led research.

I am a single-parent eking out an existence with my two kids on an Edith Cowan University(APA equivalent) scholarship so any help in getting to Canberra via a micro-fellowship would be hugely helpful. Perth-Canberra airfares are very hefty.
