Pip Shea

I am a media artist, designer, producer, researcher and educator. My practice focuses on participatory projects that explore the impact of sharing within networks. I am currently a PhD candidate researching community wifi networks and emergent creativity.

I have participated in artist residencies at the Banff Centre for the Arts (Canada), Electrofringe Festival (Newcastle), and the Next Wave Festival (Melbourne); and has been a participating artist at the 2009 International Symposium of Electronic Art (Belfast), the Light In Winter Festival (Melbourne), the Melbourne Festival, 2009 Creative Sydney Festival and was a speaker at the 2008 Alfred Deakin Innovation Lectures.
