What happens when media change? This question has motivated me over some time to draw on media studies, cultural studies, philosophy of technology and social studies of technology in my teaching and research. I've pursued this question at UTS, Newcastle, Macquarie, UNSW and now Digital Cultures at University of Sydney. At the moment I am on sabbatical at the Centre for Social Robotics (ACFR) looking at expression, location and institutionalisation of robotic assemblages.
