Last year I finished honours in history at University of Sydney. I have also just finished working as a research assistant on an ARC funded project examining the history of teaching reading in Australia.

I see my role as a person who can help those who are very unfamiliar with technology develop basic skills and encourage them to engage. This is what I have done in the workplace. To do this I need to be a step ahead. This year I have endeavoured to increase my understanding of the basics of digital humanities.
