I'm a historian that works with archives at Public Record Office Victoria. I'm managing a pilot project for crowdsourcing the transcription and semantic markup of archives online. It's pretty exciting stuff, and it's a partnership between my organisation and the Victorian eResearch Strategic Initiative.
